Digital X-Ray

Digital x-rays allow us to take a picture of your horse’s limbs or skull on-site and have that image available within seconds. Having a clear, detailed image will enable us to diagnose the issue better and lead to a quicker treatment plan for your horse. A few conditions that may be diagnosed with this tool would be lameness issues, tooth root abscesses, or a tooth fracture. It is also helpful for hoof angles when working with farriers.

Our portable digital unit means our equine team comes to your farm. The images are immediately available, diagnosis made and discussed, in real-time, with you. Our in-house digital unit means you also get results before you leave the clinic, and time is made for you to view the x-rays and discuss results with one of our equine veterinarians.

Images can be saved on disk or emailed to you.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please give us a call at 902.543.5602.
