Dr. Melanie Colwell
Veterinarian
Melanie graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2002. She has been an associate vet with South Shore Veterinary Hospital since 2008 and became a partner in 2013. She has a special interest in the internal medicine of cats and dogs.
Melanie is also active in the community and school organizations and enjoys volunteer work in her free time. Free time is also spent gardening, hiking, biking, camping, and generally exploring our great shore and province. Melanie lives in Bridgewater with her husband Stacey, 2 children Ella and Luke, cat Lilly and dog Lexa. A fun fact about Melanie is that she spent much of her childhood working on the family maple syrup farm in Pictou County, Nova Scotia.
