Emily Bowe, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

I have always had a passion for animals, but initially I pursued an engineering degree at Carleton University. After working in the field, I quickly realized I couldn't ignore my true passion and enrolled at Algonquin College in the Veterinary Technician Program. I graduated in 2021 and moved to Bridgewater, where I was lucky enough to be hired at SSVH!

All of my coworkers are so passionate about the care they give to our patients and clients - working among them is an absolute pleasure. I love all aspects of the veterinary field, but I really love the patient care side of things where I get to work directly with the animals - whether it is drawing blood, giving treatments, or just holding them and providing comfort while they are scared for a procedure. I have a full house at home with 2 cats, Ivy and Ducky, and a large, rambunctious dog named Mocha.
