Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists will attempt to accommodate your requested date and time and appointments with a specific doctor will be accommodated as much as possible as we understand you like to maintain a consistent relationship between your pet and your veterinarian. During regular business hours, we have a veterinarian and personnel on duty Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 8pm and Saturday from 9am-12pm, who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian, several technicians and assistants working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion or a urinary blockage in a cat. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency and we can be ready for you.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Emergency After hours: For emergencies when our office is closed, there is always a veterinarian available. Call 543-5602. Our answering service will then page the veterinarian to call you. Extra fees apply for after hours phone calls and clinic or farm calls so please inquire while speaking with the vet to arrange your visit.
